My Story

About Me

My name is Alla Vishniakova.

I was born and raised in beautiful Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

For as long as I can remember, I was always interested in the key drivers of success, happiness, and satisfaction.

In 2000, I was admitted to the sociology department of one of the best universities in Russia where I specialized in social work. Soon thereafter, I learned to apply a scientific approach to my passion for what drives our happiness and success. During all my years of studying, my research topic was: “Human potential and how it is influenced”.

Five years after graduating from St. Petersburg State University, I earned my Ph.D. degree.

Fast-forward to the present and I now have been studying the topic of human potential for 20 years. Suffice to say though that my studies were not always pure academic research. Life has taught me just as much if not more.

In 2016, I moved to the USA which has provided new learnings and experience to contribute to my profession. Soon after, I launched my Instagram blog about self-esteem, self-understanding, and relationships.

It didn’t take long for positive comments on my posts to turn into requests to share advice on common life situations: relationships, life crisis, personal boundaries, careers, etc.

My strong belief is that every one of us has the potential to solve their own life situations and no one except that person truly knows what’s best for himself/herself. It’s all just a matter of guiding you along the journey.

This is my coaching approach. I decided to combine my deep knowledge of human nature with a structured coaching method. So, in 2020, I earned certificates in Foundations of Professional Coaching and Coaching Conversations in the Context of Work from the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto.

Today, I offer coaching sessions in both Russian and English. I help individuals with their personal growth, career, relationships, and other life issues.

In the future, I will be offering lectures on self-esteem and relationships.
